"So Arjun, I hope you have read and understood the complication from the report. " Dr. Gary started immediately. Arjun just looked at the medical report in his hands and didn't reply Dr. Gary. "Arjun, listen to me..I know its very difficult to accept this, but let me explain, and before that, I’m going to talk to you as your friend" After a long gap Dr. Gary started "Buddy, I know you for so many years man, you are very strong person. We have to accept this fact."
Arjun replied with a slow voice "I know Gary, but you tell me. If you are in my shoes, can you be normal. Man, I can't do that! There must be a way for this Gary, that is the reason I want you to handle this case. You are a great doctor Gary, please help me as a friend.Pleasssee..."

Arjun was begging Dr. Gary without stop. "Arjun stop it. You think I don't want to anything about this as well, I want you to be happy and you are my friend. I always want the best for you, man. This type of disease will occur when there is a small growth at the lower part of the brain. So far we can assume that the blood clog that happened sometime back caused this. But we should have known this earlier so that we could have done something like an operation but now. Arjun, it's too late. Gary ended his explanation to Arjun with such a heavy heart.

At this point Arjun started tearing and realized that everything is out of his hands now. He just felt like his whole world came crushing on him, now even worse. Now slowly Arjun realized why Dhanya was reacting like that to him, now he understood that every action of Dhanya and Divya, he seems to understand everything. But at the end of his heart he knows it's all too late for anything.

Weeks and months passed by. Arjun and Divya met more often and shared lots of thoughts. As for now both of them are not certain if this is leading to somewhere but Arjun knows that his heart is always looking for Dhanya.

"So Arjun, tell me how it all started with Dhanya. Well you know that I didn't expect this at all. You can share it with me of course if you don't mind." Divya slowly started to dig out stories from Arjun. Suddenly Dhanya shouted "Hey both of you.. What is this uh, meeting up without me is it?...So what’s happening uh uh uh .. " With a cynical smile. Dhanya didn't realize that they are actually talking about her.

"Well you know what, you gonna live for 100 years! I just thought of calling you for a drink and there you are..sitting with Arjun, hahahah" Arjun said " hey whats with that laugh, don't tease me okay. This is just a casual meet.” "I know I know, I didn't asked for explanation" she said. Butting in " well you know something Arjun was actually telling me some interesting stuffs about girls" Arjun took a sip of his coffee and smiled at both of them. "About girls?? What does a man with cash sign and business in his head have in mind about girls? And please don't give me that egoistic male logic about girls who are paethethic, girls who are this, girls who are that okay" Dhanya defending but at the same time showing interest on what would it be that they are discussing about.

It’s 9 am. Arjun arrived at Damansara Starbucks to pass the project paper to Divya. He kept looking at his watch and waited while sipping on his Caramel macchiato. From far he could see a tall woman professionally dressed walking towards him.

He knew that is Divya. “ Hi good morning. You look great!” Said Arjun just before Divya could say a word or greet him. “Good morning to you as well.” Without saying any word he stood up. “ I need to rush to work, gotta attend a meeting with client. Just came to pass you the paper. See you around.” He actually didn’t give her a single chance to say anything. She stood there; speechless trying to figure out what is this man all about.

He came, he passed and he left. Is that all? Doesn’t he have a courtesy to ask if I wanna join him for a coffee. Damn all guys are jerks! Divya had all this thoughts in her mind while walking to her car. Summarizing the whole situation, Divya just couldn’t understand him. He seems to be a nice guy, but at times he just not her type. But wait. “Why am I thinking so much about him? Who is he?” HHOOONNKKK..

Divya just realized that she didn’t move her car when the traffic light turned green. Drove into her office building and parked. Having his thoughts on her mind, she just continued her daily work ignoring all the mixed feelings on her mind.

That night she immediately called Dhanya and told the whole story from beginning till the end. “Girl, you just keep showing me signs that you kinda havin crush on him. Is that true?” Despite the fact that Divya is ignoring that she is having a crush on Arjun, her best buddy seems not to be giving up and creating the feelings in Divya’s heart.

It took Sanjay almost 2 hours to patiently listen to his friends’ ranting and face the reality, “Arjun, I really feel sorry for you man and sorry bout my words earlier. I was too frustrated over this matter. I just couldn’t see you like this but after listening to this I think we should do something about this. Don’t worry, I will always be there for you and you know that, dog! “

Sanjay just gave him a small hug and pat his back. He knew that he is the only person that his friend can rely on; the only person his friend can trust and he have to be there for him.

"Hi Ms.Divya, looks like Mannaren Company quoted RM 550K for the ABS project uh:P" Divya got shock of her life. How does he knows that? How does that contract went to his hands? What happened?WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?? Divya started sweating and was so nervous. Her feelings are so mixed up till she felt like choking to death, she was about to write some points to discuss with her director tomorrow morning before she made the call to Dhanya earlier and hell now the contract is in Arjun's hands. She dialled back to the number she received the sms and he just answered immediately. With his deep voice "Hey" and he just smiled, even though she cant see him but she knows that he is smiling, which triggered her anger with him thinking he is playing some dirty games. Before she could open her mouth to say a word, he butted in "Ms.Divya, I know you would have thought so many things by now. Let me tell you first. Earlier when you came to my office, you took out all your files and other documents right and you left without taking this project paper. When I was about to leave office I saw it on my desk. Thinking it was mine I took it back home, and when I flipped through I saw your company name there. Thats where I knew it was yours and of course thats how I saw the project details" Divya stunned and she just cant say a word. All her words were stuck.

The only words which came out from her was "Okay.. but .. ah nevermind..by the way.." Before she could start, he continued "Dont worry. I was just kidding earlier on the sms, hope you dont get me wrong. And another thing, this is not like that parking ticket incident" he laughed. She couldnt say a word. Now she is confused if he is honest about what is he saying or he just another jerk who is trying to exploit her and her job. She said " I really dont know what to say. But one thing for sure, that papers can cost my job you know. Its a very big project paper." He replied with a calm voice " Very big? How big? As big as elephant? Ahahahaha..Dont worry Divya. You tell me where and when I will pass it back to you. I know how it feels" Even though she is so irritated with him but in her heart she just thanked God and him. She replied him with a smile " Thanks Arjun. I would need it in the morning. Perhaps I will meet you in Damansara to get it say around 9am? Will that be okay?" Yeah why not said Arjun.

Suddenly something sounded so loud which dragged Arjun from his dreamworld. All this while he didnt realise that his phone was ringing. He just looked around saw his mum reading newspaper and the phone was next to him...Still ringing. He just realised that he was looking at the photo's in his laptop. He answered and he heard that familiar voice " Arjun. I heard the news. What is this bro? I really cant take it man. Brain Tumor???!!! What the f**k is happening? How can that happen? How you got to know? Is this why she was behaving like that??"

Then he knew that is Sanjay over the other side, kept on asking so many questions. Arjun remained silent wishing so much that he can answer all of Sanjay's questions. "Bro, i really dont know what to say.Im blank."He said "Okay you dont worry Arjun. I will come over to your place, we go out somewhere. Somewhere we can really talk about this. I really cant see you like this. OK?

Arjun replied with so much of pain in his heart " okay. Once you are here, call me"

All the questions Sanjay asked just keep coming back to his mind. How can it be like this? This is not fair.. at all...

..the reason i called was because, i realise something after having a long conversation with Arjun today.. Actually..he is not that bad you know.." Hahahahahahahhahaa i knew it. ahhahahah" Dhanya shouted over the phone. "Hey what is this. I just said he is not bad... nothing else ok" Divya defending herself. In Dhanya's mind she is already having this feeling that Divya is slowing falling for Arjun. The type of guy with that perfect physic, looks and strong characteristics and charisma that every girl would want to have in their life. Arjun is actually a very jovial and a happy go lucky person. With his friendliness he can just sweep anyone off their feet. Yes, that was Arjun. Every girls dream. " So are you having anything towards Arjun now?" " NO NO NO.. its just that when he talks he doesn't talk nonsense. Even he didnt talked much today in the discussion, but i can feel that he is someone who is very sensible and someone who thinks using his brains not his ass.. hahhaahhah" both laughed. " But at the same time we don't know right. Guys are all the same, they will be that sweet charming angel in the beginning and as time passes by they will tend to show their color. They will be like that perfect man in this world, and by the time they realise that their girl cant leave without him thats when they will start taking advantage".. dont you think so Dhanya? At this point of time, its so clear that Divya is confused. " You sound confused Divya. Do you realise that? Do you actually realise that this thing is really making you a very confused person now. Ok lets not jump over the fence without knowing whats on the other side okay. Listen to me carefully, i bet after this, you guys are goin to meet more often due to your business and so on. So, get to know him more but as you said dont make it obvious, or else he will think that you are going after him. Maintain your distance. Get to know him in person, his character and how is he. Dont assume anything okay. But of you think that you should know him more, then go ahead, nothing is wrong ok? Remember Divya, dont rush this is ONLY the first meet, look im stressing on it again, this is just ONLYYY the first meet! so dun assume or jump into anything ok ..got it? ". She just sounded like Divya's mother, giving such a long lecture mixed with worries. That was their frienship.Sharing everything they know in life.. She just doesn't want Divya to get into any trouble or dissappointments. After a while they hung up. Divya was thinking to herself, is she really interested to get to know this guy? Is it worthwhile? Before she could even figure our the answer to that question, she heard a sms tone in her phone. She took the phone and checked and to her suprise it was Arjunn!!?? She was extremely shocked to see his sms in her inbox. Tottally unexpected! Is this some sort of telepathy or something.. i mean.. "I was just talking about him .. and..oh gosh..dont tell me Dhanya said something to him..."Still feeling confused, she went on to read the sms. It starts.." Hi Ms. Divya.......

Arjun left Australia back home to Kuala Lumpur. Few weeks later, a new company approached for some business partnership. "Okay, you ask them to meet me today evening as i don't have any appointments." Arjun said over the phone. Knock knock.. He heard someone knocking on the door, and too his shock it was Dhivya. Without him realizing, he actually smiled and greeted her "Hi there. Come on in, I'm Arjun and you are?" " Hi, I'm Dhivya." They exchanged their name cards and he saw the card. Printed on was, Dhivya - Business Development Manager. He was thinking to himself "Not bad.." and Arjun immediately started, "err Dhivya before that i would like to apologies for what happened that day. It was actually my mistake as i didn't know that wasn't your parking ticket and It was someone Else's" Immediately Dhivya replied "Mr.Arjun, I am here on business purpose so I would appreciate if we could only discuss strictly about business.Thank you." Arjun was tipped by her reply. Then the discussion went on and Arjun just kept smiling, he could not take his eyes away from Dhivya. She was that perfect woman every man wants, that stern and clear speech, nice skin, wide smile with that killer eye's. Arjun was equally commenting and discussing at times rebuttal with her comments and views, but he still cant take his eyes from her. "Thank you very much Mr.Arjun we would really like to have this partnership with your company." Arjun did not reply. "Mr Arjun, are you with me?" "helloooo" Arjun reacted as though he just got electrocuted. He said " yeah OK sure.. Thanks thanks.."
The next day, Dhivya was going through some emails and presentation slides, suddenly someone just strucked in her mind. It was Arjun, " eee idiot why the hell he is coming into my mind." The whole day Arjun were running in her mind. That night she had a chat with Dhanya." Hi Dhanya, how are you..hows things there girl..?" "I'm fine here. so how is ur work going on with you" Dhivya said" know what i met that idiot.. remember the fella i told you about, the parking ticket trick and also at the airport. Today my boss asked me to go to this company Arkay International.." and suddenly Dhanya just butt in and said " hey u know that is Arjun's company right? You know him rite?" Dhivya" Yeah yeah thats the fella i am talking about"
Dhanya asked Dhivya " Well then, what the hell is wrong with you people lar.. " You are like hating each other even without knowing each other!. " Dhivya anxiously asked " why did u meet him or what? what did he said? did he comment anything about me?" Dhanya was like shocked on why Divya was getting so emotional. " hey hey chill chill girl chill ..wats wrong with you. Well he was here for meeting. It seems that they are collaborating with some company here and the expertise are taken in malaysia. Guess that's where your company comes in. He didn't say anything about you okey.. he just asked about you .. you know things like who are you and sort of things like that. Nuttin much"
"oohhh like that.." Dhivya said and she continued " You know what Dhanya.. the reason i called you is because i wanted to tell you sumtin.." "What is that.." Dhanya asked curiously...

"..Currently we have 16 million ringgit turnover for the past one year which made us the fastest growing organisation in Malaysia. We have proved out stakes are the most trustworthy to be purchased. We would like to seek collaboration with your organisation as we are in the midst of extending the global partnership for Arkay International.Thank you very much for being here today.. before i finish i would like to say this.. confidence is the core of success and we have it alots.." Arjun ended his speech with a big smile. He just finished his meeting with his Australian counterparts. He really hopes that this will work out and if it does that will be a big step for his company to expand globally. After having lunch, Arjun left the building and walked down the street. "Hey thats Arjun".. Arjun...ARJUN!!.. "hey Dhanya its you.. what are you doing here.."Arjun asked. Dhanya replied" Well i was down at the bookstore and i saw you walking by. Whats up with that suit. You look really nice in it.." Arjun said" Thanks. Just finished my meeting now heading back to the hotel. Its down the road so thought of taking a slow walk and enjoy the Aussie streets." Hey Arjun if you not rushing why dont we go for a coffee maybe. Arjun replied " well .. how can i resist an offer from the hot chick..ahahahhahah" Dhanya said" ok just gimme a sec i will go grab that book and come okay.. just hang on there.." Dhanya went inside the boookstore and paid for the book and both started walking towards the cafe. Its by the river looking across Sydney opera house. Its a very nice view and both were talking non stop bout so many things. Arjun was tellin Dhanya what is his business about and so on. And Dhanya was telling bout her life in Aussie with her Masters. "So Arjun when you heading back home" Arjun said " Well if you give me a chance i would stay back here but i have to go back. My flight is this Friday morning" Dhanya " Ah so fast? Why so short trip. You just got here like what.. last week or something." Arjun replied " No i have to go .. i came just for the meeting. Once im back there will be tonnes of things that i need to settle like preparing for the MoU's and so on" Dhanya asked anxiouly "What the hell is MoU?" Arjun laughed and said " MoU is Memorandum of Understanding. Meaning when to organisation work together for a same product like partners they will sign MoU. Its like contract lar.. u know perjanjian..sumtin like dat" Dhanya " oooo ok ok. i reli dont know all this business terms.."

Trrrinngg... "Hello" Arjun answered.. an elderly voice from the other side questioned "Arjun where are you?" "I am in the temple ma,why anything ?" "No" Arjun's mum said. "I was just wondering where were you. Come back fast ok. Arjun then drove back from the temple back home. Still feeling confused and frustrated. He could not accept what was on the medical report. As he was driving back, he passed by this tall artistic building. After turning left, he stopped in front of the building. Way in front of his view was the same traffic light where his car broke down once. Long long time ago.



Ding Dong; Arjun's mum, Mrs Ambika opened the door. "Where have u been so early in the morning Arjun? Have u had your breakfast?" Yeah ma. I made bread toast with eggs. Why? Did u make anything ma? Yeah. I prepared your favorite Ghee Thosai.. Smiling with bitterness in his heart, he walked in..not feeling like he was "home".Arjun sat at the dining table and stared at his plate. His mum just placed the hot ghee thosai on his plate. "Where is Appa?" Oh, he went to Uncle Siva's office since they have to plan something for their next trip to Auckland the coming week. Nodding his head, Arjun kept staring at the thosai without eating.


From the dining, he was seeing the medical report lying on the coffee table next to the Main door. His mum walked towards the table wondering what was the envelope Arjun had brought back home. She picked it up with a shock on her face. Where did u get this Arjun? Why are you having this? Arjun just kept his silence and smiled with tears filling his eyes all at the same time. "I went to the hospital to collect the report ma. I know ma that everyone had been hiding this from me. This is not right. Why didn't anyone tell me? Why ? How can this happen?" Arjun tears was filling his eyes even more, but he just held it back to not make it obvious to his mum. "Arjun., take it easy aiya. How long u do you want to keep thinking about this? Please eat. We all know how bad is this, but we have to fight this together..please" Arjun's mum just held his head with her hand and brought him closer and comforted him. She was holding back her tears as well to not make him feel any worse.

Amma left the dining area, and Arjun had no appetite as usual. He opened his laptop and started browsing thru some files in his laptop. He was looking at some pictures in his folders and saw a picture which brought back some old memories. It was so funny, that he immediately smiled without realising he was smiling.. after a long time.. It was a picture taken with his business associates from Australia. Pictures of their funny faces and weired poses. He still remembers that picture. It was taken at the opera house after the play,in which they all headed towards the Zucchini Café after the show. It was one of those famous late night hangouts in Sydney.. That was a time of it's own.

Both of them were busy slotting their bags over the compartment..and without realising, it was a coincidence as both of them were seated next to each other :D. With happiness, Joy and sadness.. all together at one go.. Dhanya maintained silence forwhile.. not knowing what to do.. she was all buckled up.. preparing for that heart pounding moment of the flight taking off..

Without any hesitation.. Arjun broke the silence.."Hey Dhanya if you dont mind me asking.. who is this gal Dhivya? and a how do u know her? "

"oh, She is my good old friend.. best friend i would say with a grin on her a face" and Without caring any less Arjun directly said "Well.. i think she is kinda snobbish.. and arrogant..nothing great by the way.."

"Hey Arjun.. what's with you on Dhivya.. sounds like something unlikely happened.. What is that? "

"Hmmm yes indeed.. Well.. i met her at the bar the day before this.. and passed her car ticket thinking it was her's, but she just walked away rudely thinking i was dropping a line at her...was so pathetic..surely not a good start thought..."

" Aha.. so you were the one..she told me what happened as well... Honestly Arjun she is an extremly nice gal.. Well you know .. sometimes.. when the day is just blue.. things turn sour.. but in real person.. she is very sweeet.. nothing of what sort you think about her is real.. trust me... "

And they were talking..catchin up with all the memories ..college.. social life.. how Arjun got into business.. family..ex

It started as a busy sunday morning as everyone at home was getting ready to send Dhanya off at the airport...Dhanya was in her room checking to see if she missed out anthing, and just in time Divya showed up.. " Oh. come on gal.. lets get movin.. your gonna be late..." with Dhanya replying "Coming.. coming..". Everyone at home got into the car to the airport..

Another 20min left, before the flight was gonna take off.. Dhanya's parents was giving her their last lecture of do's and dont's... and as usual she was nodding her head.. agreeing to all.. with a wide smile on her face. The anxiouness to take that flight was written on her face..

It was then time to board.. and as she was queing up .. someone familiar was at her left.. she sensed it and quickly made a turn.. to her suprise.. it was Arjun.. "Hey Arjun.. what your doing here?"..." "Dhanya? what a pleasent suprise.. how are doing.." "Iam doing great Arjun.. going to australia to complete my Master's.. what about you" ..." Well.. im on a business trip.. my company just got affiliated with a tech company from Australia. So goin there for a meeting. Dhanya says " WOW thats great... business man uh..cool cool" Arjun replied" Nah.. u know me... i jus love business" Both laughed..

Anyway Arjun.. come.. let me introduce you to my family.. this is mom.. dad.. Dhivya.. and all.. Diyva was shocked to see that Dhanya knows Arjun.. the guy she bumped into at the bar the other day.. someone she had a bad impression on.. but actually.. her liking's are sort of changing.. who is this guys.. not bad he's kinda good looking..but.. i still wont forget the pick up line her used that day..arrr.. well whatever..

After that quick introduction..Dhanya's Family shed tears of joy as they were very proud to see their baby gal moving on daringly to a unknown country to mature her education... Dhanya and Arjun left the boading station.. on their way to australia.. not returning back for the next coming months..

As the family left behind at the airport was walking back towards their car.. Divya started to feel uncomfortable.. at the corner of her heart some sort of unspoken feelings started to appear.. hmmm am i jeolous.. nah.. it can't be..

"Dhanya..im leavin at 12am ok.. my dad keep callin me".."But ..Divya why so early girl..nite still young u know..lemme talk to uncle.." Dhanya dialing number on Divya's new N73.."helo uncle..can Divya stay abit longer plssssssss... im leavin this sunday and i reli want to spend time with her pls..uncle pls pls pls.." a deep voice replied from the other side " Ok Dhanya but you girls pls be careful ok.. if there is anythin do call me and dun check out guys..hahahah " Dhanya said "Thanks uncle i just love u soo much" Then the girls just walked to the bar to get more drinks..
Across the bar Divya realise a pair of eyes looking at her..she jus glanced and saw a guy..with glasses smartly dressed and clean shaved.. "MMmm..professional.." that the only line that came to Divya's mind.. then the girls went away..

"Aight people.. this is the last call for the floor ..so ladies get on the floor.." DJ announced the last song for the day..

" Damn dat was awesome party..THANKS GUYS for coming over for the party.. im gonna miss all you all u know.." Dhanya shouted to all her friends who were present there. Dhanya is leaving to Australia to continue her Masters and at the same time settle down there with her boyfriend who has a business running in Melbourne. "Dhanya love you girl.. im leavin now. i will text u once m back kay..and i will see you on sunday at the airport.." Divya left Ruums and walked towards her car.

"Hey Hey..Excuse me ma'am..Ma'AM..".. Divya just turned and saw someone walkin straight to her..she jus grabbed her handbag tight close to her body.. she cant see clearly who the person but she can see that he is getting closer. " Ma'am i think you dropped this.. " Divya looked and saw a parking ticket. Divya just flashed her parking ticket to the guy and said " Thanks but thats not mine.. and YOU KNOW THAT!..." She just got into the car, locked it first before she sped off nearly knocking off the guy...
Guy was thinking in his mind.."Pretty cute..mmm but arrogant.."



suddenly.."Eerrr xcuse me bro think thats mine.." " Ohoo.. thats urs" passing the parking ticket to the guy. "Thanks man" .."no prob bro.." Deep inside his heart he was thinking .. damn.. Ohh Goddd.. she mus be thinkin that im tryin to make a move ..shit..anyway she was arrogant..biyatch"

Divya stopped at the traffic light before turning to her housing area.. Deeply thinking bout wat happened and she realised that the guy was the same guy that she saw across the bar table earlier at the club..."Shit. very wrong impression i had from his looks..guys are always guys.." driving into her porch..

Its pouring so heavily..Arjun was waiting at the lobby staring at the rain.. Then came huge black car with black tint.. Arjun rushed into the car to avoid the rain and slammed the door. Slowly the car exited from Ampang Puteri and in car Arjun just looking at the medical report that he is holding with his hand..his feelings were all mixed up.. he jus cant decide if he is angry..upset or sad ..he was reading through line by line..then it reads "
Diagnosed: Brain Tumor"..damn..daMN..DAMN!!..thats the only word running in Arjun's mind. Appu turned and asked " yes sir..anything? you looked disturbed. Is everything ok?".." no no nothing jus drive.." said Arjun and looked back at the Ampang Puteri's report signed by Dr. Gary Arumugam.
ttit tnniit nttniit.."next we have Burn from Usher only on Hitz.fm mornin crew JJ and Rudy.." Arjun sat on his bed listening to the Usher on the alarm radio.. He just cant stop thinkin bout the medical report that he read.. He took his shower and walked to kitchen to make some breakfast.. Its saturday morning and he checked his PDA if there is any appointments today..Then he knew Appu wont be in today since he is going back to his in-laws place ...Arjun thinking to himself..he just grabbed the keys of his Sylvia and drove out from his apartment to nowhere..the car just went on and on...till he reaches a place..a place where he never been for sometime..about 3 to 4 months..a place where he used to go almost everyday.. Arjun just parked his car and washed his legs.. and went ..there stood the priest greeted him.." ennaya arjun..so long didnt see you? overseas trip again?" Arjun just smiled and shook his head.. after making the rounds he just sat at the end corner of PJ Sithi Vinayagar Alayam..the exact place where he always sits..
