Interesting forwarded email

When I opened my mailbox this morning, this is the first email that I read and I felt so happy on the Thaipusam part. Read through and drop in your comments.Disclaimer: I got nothing to do with this. Its just a forwarded email :P

Good advice 'cos it is free... change our mind set... built temples but
built better TAMIL schools.

Hindus only concentrate building huge temples,One day KUMBABHISHEGAM spent almost closed to 60 to 70 K for (Kumbabhishegam) only you spent so much.

Sighhh...end of the day temples are not helping anyone but themselves ( a group of people call themselves committee) only concentrate how much collection has been made for a week and auspicious days it's different scenario, AADI AMAVASAI's alone one day collection is 32 K Suprised!! It's just a ordinary temple in a good location....not BT Caves or our HQ in Jln Bandar..!

Overall the priests are ( most of them ) filthy rich !! depends the temple's location and if there is lots of ignorant devotees,and me that temples have all sorts of DEITIES .... they milk money frm them..trust me you will be surprised they comes up with hundreds of method! GOOD MARKETING STRATEGY perhaps !!

Archanai...paalkudam....ghee light ( nei vilakku) and top of this you go back home with Half coconut , Two beetle leaf , some beetle nuts ( rare ) not forgetting TWO " dirty" BANANA'S and of course with some flowers in it.

The WHOLE HINDUISM , RELIGIOUS KNOWLEDGE say it all, all are in the half coconut!!
In addition to this the "HUGE"...temple committee is not bothered abt how to spread the spiritual msgs to the devotees , such as YOGA...MEDITATION..etc..etc...I think the Europeans and the Americans are doing better in this aspect such as Yoga...and Meditation...at least we should be proud abt it perhaps.

I am not against it...pls do but that is not all ! It's beyond all this..that is the spritual knowledge...which unable to explain but you have to feel it with yr soul...aaathma..!!

We only need more Tamil Movies in the NATIONAL CHANNELS RAJNIKANTH....VIJAYKANTH.......AJIT....VIJAY..etc..etc sighhh...trust me vomit blood!Not forgetting the "KUTTU PAATTU " (despite have more and more KILLING MEGA SERIALS !!)


If we save one year "PAAL KUDAM" money at
all temples for THAIPUSAM it is enough to support all poor families
children school fare for a year....... pls think....as for me.... I am not
going to take PAAL KUDAM from next year thaipusam. ( I spent about RM 70.00
for paal kudam itself every year,5 in a family and PAAL KUDAM charge RM
5.00 per person.(RM 25)(milk cost RM 50) It is better to donate the money
to TAMIL schools.

Appriciate yr BHAKTHY...but BHAKTHY with common sence is better way to serve gopd and man kind!!

Come to think about it, this year why not we take paalkudam somewhere else like Penang, Negeri Sembilan or Ipoh. As for me, we are taking paalkudam 2days before thaipusam. You can avoid traffc, crowd and ridiculous RM10 for a paalkudam and what will end up for Murugan? Only the milk not the cash. Ok we still insist in giving that RM10 to them and what do we get? Lock them up like dogs and let the police to fire water cannon and canisters at them? Cool eh...

Lets do a small math:
Assuming that the visitors in Batu Caves is 1 million people and assuming minimal 5000 people with paalkudam, so:

1 paalkudam = RM 10
5000 x RM 10 = RM 50,000
So imagine if 50,000 paalkudam?

Sounds interesting??
